How to travel on a student budget

Traveling as a student can be a nice way to destress from college studies and be a great way to experience new things. It might seem impossible while having a tight budget but there are smart ways to travel without spending a lot of money.

1) Plan ahead

It's important to plan ahead to find better deals when traveling. Finding flights ahead of time can give you an advantage. There are student travel discounts that help when booking flights.

2) Save on Food

Shopping for groceries and cooking is much cheaper than going out when on trips. Take advantage of free breakfast when at hostels or hotels that offer free breakfast.
