When I first started college, I spent money on college textbooks I needed for some of my classes, just like any other student. Textbooks are way too expensive; some are in the hundreds price range. There are some easy ways to bypass paying full price for textbooks.
1) Rent instead of buy
There are websites where you can rent a book for a significantly lower price. These websites include places like Amazon, Chegg, and your own campus bookstore.
2) Split with a friend
If you are taking the same class, grab a friend or classmate and split the cost of the book. This way, you can both share the book. You won't pay full price instead, you will split the cost with each other.
3) Find a free PDF
You can try websites like Library Genesis or Reddit threads, or even your campus's own library database might have a free PDF.
4)Buy used or older editions
older editions of a textbook are sometimes mostly the same. Important to ask your professor if you are able to use the previous version.
So true!!!
